Karen van Nostics Medical Equipment. How do you change the lamp in your otoscope, ophthalmoscope, or retinoscope head? The lamp is usually situated in the neck of this head. You can see the base of your lamp there. Use a pair of tweezers or your fingernails and simply pull it out.
